We are celebrating Avalon's 25th anniversary this year, of building homes for Albertans. Looking back, Avalon has accomplished many noteworthy milestones. We are very proud of our twenty-five year achievement with the Alberta New Home Warranty Program of no outstanding customer complaint. Avalon has also been acknowledged with 15 industry design and customer service awards since 2001. This could not have been accomplished without the dedication of all Avalon team members in which we include our suppliers. But the real litmus test of success for us since the company was started in 1983 has been, and will continue to be, building homes people love to live in.

Our decision to build energy efficient and environmentally sustainable housing has had a profound effect on our business model and represents the platform for our future home building. To date, it has set Avalon apart and distinguished us as a leader in sustainable building. Avalon was the first multifamily builder to be certified under the Alberta Built Green program introduced in 2002. Since then, all the homes we build are certified "Built GreenT". We continue to invest significant resources in exploring intelligent "green" home technology alternatives so that our customers can live in healthier, more comfortable homes that save money today and reduce their environmental footprint in perpetuity.
