All bathroom and kitchen outlets are in GFI circuits. For the kitchen there will be one outlet on the backsplash that has a RESET button on it. Pressing that button will restore power to the plugs. The island plug is on a separate circuit, and the RESET button for this is in the mechanical room.
All of the bathrooms, including the half-bathroom, are linked together. You will find the RESET button for these in one of the upper bathrooms.
High efficiency furnaces do typically run more often than older, less efficient furnaces do. The high-efficiency furnace in your new home is a two-stage furnace. The first stage is meant to heat your home and the second stage maintains that temperature. Furthermore, when you HRV is circulating the air in your home, it uses the furnace fan to disperse the air. So even if your furnace isn’t running to heat your home, the fan may still be running.
Your HRV does have two settings – low and intermit. The intermit setting will run for 20 minutes every hour, and the low setting will run continuously. By changing it to the intermit setting, it will stop running continuously. If it is already set to intermit, but is running all the time, your HRV may just need to be reset. To do this, unplug the HRV in the mechanical room, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in.
If you are still having troubles, please contact your Avalon service coordinator to arrange an appointment for the heating company to come and take a look. You may also contact them directly if you wish. Their contact information is on the Trades list posted in your mechanical room.
Your exterior doors will expand and contract as the seasons change. Please see the video tutorial on how to make adjustments as you need them.

In the event that your washing machine or dishwasher is leaking, immediately shut off the water to avoid further damage. The water shut off for the dishwasher is underneath the kitchen sink, and the water connections to the washing machine are on the wall inside the laundry room.
